I am Aqil
An engineering graduate from the University of Alberta, currently living in Toronto 🇨🇦. I am a software engineer, and a data science consultant, focussed on bringing great software experiences to the masses.
I like to tinker, and am especially interested in complex problems (the kind that involve multiple disciplines, and faculties outside of traditional engineering/computer science). I’m also an M.S. CS - Machine Learning candidate, at the Georgia Institiute of Technology.
I’ve hosted this blog using Google Cloud, but all of the source code is at https://github.com/aqilhirji/aqil-dev-blog. I built this blog with an open source project, Hugo. One of my early posts will be a tutorial to set this up, in case you’re intersted in doing this yourself.
